How does the free trial work?
Every new workspace starts on Business for 14 days — the whole platform, 500 credits, no card, nothing to cancel. When the fortnight ends you land on Free with everything you built kept: clients, files, invoices, projects. Keep Business, pick Studio, or stay on Free. There is no second trial and no surprise charge; your first payment is the day you choose a paid door.
Which door is mine?
If you make videos or run social accounts for a living, Studio. If you run a business — clients, invoices, a phone line, projects, payroll — Business, even as a solo consultant (one seat). If you are here for the editor and nothing else, Free is the real product on your own machine, not a demo. You can move between doors any time and nothing is deleted.
What counts as a seat?
A person who logs in to work. Client-portal users, guests on a call, and Connekz itself never take a seat. On Business you buy seats explicitly: adding one is charged today, prorated to your billing date; removing one credits your next invoice.
What is a Connekz credit?
A unit of AI work — drafting an email, researching a company, generating a clip, summarising a call. Every action quotes its price before it runs, and a job that fails is never charged. Included credits arrive each month and expire with it; credits you buy in a pack never expire and are spent only after the included ones.
Can I ever owe you money?
No. Plans and AI staff are charged at the start of each period; seats and add-ons are charged today. AI spending draws from a prepaid wallet that stops at zero — there is no post-pay overage. Auto top-up is opt-in, has a monthly ceiling, charges your saved card before the balance reaches zero, and turns itself off if the card declines.
What are AI staff, and why are they priced like that?
They are the members of the team that cost real money every month: the Receptionist answers your phone 24/7 ($129, 400 minutes included), the Growth Manager works your pipeline every day ($199, 10,000 credits included), and the AI Engineer ships the tasks on your board from its own always-ready computer (from $89). They attach to Business, are hired by the month, and can be let go any month. Compare them to hires, not to software.
What happens to the Growth Manager after the trial?
It is included in your first 14 days so you can see a real brief. After that it is hired by the month on Business. Nothing it learned is lost while it is not hired — your history, experiments and coaching stay readable.
What does Free really include?
The complete CNEX Cut editor with no watermark and unlimited 4K export on your own machine; 1 GB of cloud storage, one seat and one connected social profile; and every CNEX Flow module at taster caps — 50 clients, 5 invoices a month, 2 projects. The caps are on quantity, never on features.
What is the annual discount?
Twenty percent. Studio is $144 a year ($12 a month); Business is $468 a seat a year ($39 a seat a month). Same doors, same features, paid yearly.
What currencies do you support?
USD. Prices are charged in USD regardless of your billing country.
What about refunds and cancellation?
Cancel any time from Billing — no phone calls, no retention scripts. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow our Terms of Service.
